We are proud to announce the launch of a new project: a massive, state-of-the-art solar system designed by Phuket Solar, delivering 89.9 KW of clean energy to the Mangosteen Ayurveda & Wellness Resort in Phuket. With an investment of over 3 million Thai Baht, this project aims to significantly reduce the resort’s carbon footprint through the use of clean solar energy.
After testing a 13 KW system for over a year, we decided to fully commit to this sustainable initiative. Combined with the existing system, we will soon be feeding over 100 KW into the resort’s power grid. Our measurements have confirmed that power consumption is much higher during sunny daylight hours than at night, ensuring the system’s high efficiency.
Today, Rose and Hajo von Keller, Managing Directors of the Mangosteen Resort, signed an agreement with CEO and Engineer Rosario Antonio Sanna and Mr. Federico Lazzarotto from Phuket Solar, a company with an impressive portfolio on the island. We extend our heartfelt gratitude for their commitment and the outstanding project design.
Preparations for the installation are underway, and installation will commence in mid-March, with completion expected within one month.
As an added benefit, cars will be parked in shaded spaces beneath the solar roof, allowing EVs to charge on-site.
